It’s the Foonf

I am so happy to finally have the Clek Foonf! I got the Paul Frank edition of the seat (the “faux-hawk julius”), and it’s very cute.

The Foonf is a sturdy car seat with a slim design – it actually fits right between my two Clek Oobrs in the back seat ( with room to fit my hand to buckle). Normally I hate transferring car seats to other cars especially one as heavy as this, but this is one of the easiest I’ve ever found to install. So I won’t mind moving it around – and neither will you!

It’s got a very nice recline for a convertible seat in rear facing mode. Forward facing their are two recline options (for awake and nap) and one of the many safety features (you can read all about them on their site) is a rebound bar to keep the seat from moving around in an accident.

I love that the seat can be used from six months to up to two years of age, depending on your child’s height and weight. That is great for a convertible as well!

The only thing I’d change is for the seat back to be more cushioned- I was a little surprised to see how thin the fabric is on the seat back, it may just be the fabric for the Paul Frank editions. But Mason seems quite comfortable in it so far – I’ll keep you updated!

Overall, it’s a great car seat – definitely worth the wait.
